What ingredients do you use?

All of our ingredients are thoughtfully sourced to create safe, sustainable products that are vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, and never tested on animals. Our candles are made with 100% domestically-grown soy wax, cotton core wicks, and a blend of fine fragrance oils that consist of natural and man-made materials.

Can I reuse the mug for coffee?

Yes! Our mugs are designed for reuse. To safely remove any remaining wax, use the freezer method: Place the mug in the freezer until the wax hardens, then carefully chip it out with a spoon and discard it. Remove the wick holder, wipe the inside clean, hand wash, rinse, and dry before use.

For safety, ensure all wax residue is completely removed before drinking from the mug. 289 Candles is not responsible for improper cleaning or use.

Do you use paraffin in your candles?

No, there is no paraffin wax in our wax blend. Our wax formulation is all-natural.

What kind of wicks do you use?

We use non-bleached lead-free cotton wicks for our candles.
